Hi! My name is Debbie Chialtas and I launched Noodles Laces in June 2021. I’m a fanatical skater and love both dancing and trail skating. In fact, you can find my San Diego trail reviews on Debbie Skates San Diego!

But before I rediscovered skating, I was a fashion and product designer. Color, patterns, and textiles have always inspired me. Tie dyeing has been a hobby all through my adult life, and when I thought of dyeing some skate laces, it seemed like the planets aligned!

I’m proud to say that Noodles Laces are 100% cotton and come from a family owned mill on the east coast. I design and dye them in San Diego. Noodles is a very conscious business using minimal packaging, recyclable materials, and I source consciously, too. I hope you try them out! If you do, please share your pics on IG and tag @NoodlesLaces!

Thanks for reading this and have a great skate day!

Popular Questions

Are Noodles Laces waxed?
No, they are not waxed. However, they are 100% cotton and have a natural texture that holds knots very well!

What length should I get?
We have a size chart to help you choose the right length of laces for your rollerskates or shoes on this page. Since styles and feet sizes vary, the most reliable method is to measure a lace from your skate or shoe.

Can I wash my Noodles?
Absolutely! Noodles Laces are totally washable and dryable.
To clean, hand wash in hot water with dish soap, scrub tough spots, rinse well, and air dry. Colors won't fade or wash off, but avoid scrubbing glitter areas.
You can put them in a bag (like a laundry bag, sock, or pillowcase), and wash them in the washing machine and dryer. Use the bag to prevent the laces from getting tangled in the machine.

Do you wholesale Noodles?
Not at this time. Sorry about that!

Do you do custom designs or take requests?
Generally speaking, I do not. But you can still ask, just in case!
